The Challenge
Teams alternate between running and biking stages, navigating their routes to collect as many checkpoints as possible.
Balancing speed, navigation and endurance is essential to avoid penalties and earn maximum points.
With non runners/cyclists navigating between stage change-overs in the team support vehicle…..from Snowdonia's peaks to the Cambrian Mountains and southern Wales’ forest trails, every day brings new tests.
Difficulty
Technical: High – includes fell running on upland tracks, MTB on trails up to red-grade and vehicle navigation in vehicle rally book format. Navigation and teamwork are crucial.
Physical: Medium – competitors must cover distances up to 130km a day through a combination of biking and running.
