Event T&C’s

  • We understand plans change. Our refund policy is as follows:

    • 90% Refund: For cancellations at least 4 months before the event.

    • 50% Refund: For cancellations at least 2 months before the event.

    • No Refund: For cancellations less than 2 months before the event, unless the cancellation is due to our fault.

    If we cancel the event for reasons within our control, we will issue a full refund. Refunds will not include personal expenses (e.g., travel or accommodation costs).

  • Participants must:

    • Be physically and mentally prepared for the challenges of the event.

    • Carry the required gear and equipment (as specified in the event briefing).

    • Ensure personal insurance covers injuries, equipment damage, and other risks.

    Assumption of Risk: Adventure events are inherently risky. By registering, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Wild & Remote Ltd cannot be held responsible for injuries, equipment loss, or other incidents outside our control.

  • We reserve the right to adjust or cancel events due to:

    • Force Majeure: Severe weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.

    • Safety Concerns: Adjustments may be made to routes or schedules to ensure participant safety.

    In the event of cancellation, refunds or credits will be provided at our discretion.

  • Participants must:

    • Work collaboratively as a team, following our motto: "Go Together."

    • Respect the environment, leaving no trace and complying with local regulations.

    • Follow instructions from event staff at all times.

    Failure to comply may result in disqualification or removal from the event.

  • Your safety is our priority. We provide:

    • Medical support at all stage stops.

    • Event briefings and emergency planning.

    • Expert support for bike repairs or other issues during the event.

    Participants must follow all safety instructions and carry personal emergency gear as specified in the event briefing.

  • Participants are responsible for:

    • Personal equipment (e.g., camping gear, bike maintenance tools).

    • Navigation tools (e.g., compass, pens).

    • Food and fluids, split into stage-specific resupply packs.

    • Adequate personal insurance for a UK competitive adventure event.

  • We’ll ensure you have the essentials to complete the event:

    • Stage maps and route books.

    • Electronic checkpoint GPS tagging.

    • Campsites with hot food, drinks, and rest areas.

    • Medical and emergency support.

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
